Students can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times and that too, in consecutive years.

Those Students who appeared in their Qualifying Examination (QE) in 2013 or earlier (irrespective of whether they passed or failed) are Not Eligible for 2015

Basic Eligibility for IIT JEE

Students appearing for the final examination in 12th can also apply.
Aspirants must possess a pass in the 10+2 examinations from any recognized board.
Aspirants must be physically fit for pursuing the course..
Aspirants can appear for IIT JEE for only two times and that must be in the consecutive years.
Aspirants should pursue at least 60% in the qualifying examination. For Applicants belonging to SC/ ST/ PD, they should secure at least 55% in the same

Age Qualification for IIT JEE

Students appearing for this examination should have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission and should not cross the age of 25 years.

Indian Institute Technology Joint Entrance Examination Conducted by IIT for Admission to Under Graduate B.Tech. Courses in IITs.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics in their Class 12 They must have studied at least one out of the below as optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Bio-technology They must have scored total 50% marks (minimum) in all subjects.

Number of Attempts - 2 Time

The Age of 17 years .

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT K)
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay
Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT M)
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur
Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D)
Indian Institute of Technology,Guwahati (IIT G)

Only two chances or attempt are allowed to an eligible candidate in his/her career to appear for IIT JEE exam which should be in consecutive manner for two sessions without any break.
