JEE is the first stage of the Joint entrance Examination, the two tier examination from for the engineering undergraduate admissions to the NITS and Centrally funded institutes as well as a number of leading private universities and institutes.

Tentative dates

Start of Online Application: Third week of November, 2014

Last date for Online Application: Last week of December, 2014

Paper 1 –
First week of April, 2015

Paper 2 –
First week of April, 2015

Pattern

The JEE Main Paper 1 is held in both offline and online modes.

The last date for application submission of IIT JEE (Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination) 2015 was

JEE Main 2015 Important Dates:
Start of Online Application: November 7, 2014
Last date for Online Application: December 26, 2014

JEE Main 2015 Test Date (Offline)
Paper 1 - April 4, 2015
Paper 2 – April 4, 2015

JEE Main 2015 Test Date (CBT):
JEE Main Online Test Dates

April 10, 2015
Shift 1: 9.30am to 12.30 pm

Shift 2: 2 pm to 5 pm (if needed)
April 11, 2015

Result: April 27, 2015

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2015:

The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE Mains 2015 is that the candidate must have passed in final exam of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying exam.

Those appearing in class XII final or equivalent exam in 2015 may also appear in JEE Mains 2015 exam provisionally.

Candidates must have passed 5 subjects in their Class XII. Not Applicable for students who have passed in 2013 or 2014 with four subjects.

Candidates passed Class XII in 2012 or before are not eligible to appear in JEE Main exam. Only candidates passing in 2013/ 2014 or 2015 are eligible.

Candidates’ date of birth should be on or after October 1, 1990 (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PwD i.e 1985)

Candidates can attempt JEE Main for a maximum of three times.

The criteria for the states of Maharashtra, Odisha and Gujarat are as per their past practices.

JEE Main 2015 Selection Procedure:
On the basis of All India Ranks calculated with the JEE main 2015 Scores and normalized marks of Class XII in the ratio 60:40

Candidates of JEE (Main) - 2015 have to apply online only. Application process started on November 7, 2014.

Fill the Application Form

Upload scanned JPEG files of Photo, signature and left thumb impression

Pay the Examination fee through credit/debit card or through e-Challan of Syndicate Bank/Canara Bank/ICICI Bank

Download the Acknowledgement Receipt and safe keep it. DONOT send it to the JEE Main offic
