IIT Madras is an autonomous, public engineering institution located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

It is one of the top institutions in India. It offers various courses related to Graduation (UG), Post Graduation (PG) and PhD level.

Paper pattern of JAM:

Exam Mode:
JAM will be a computer based test (online mode) exam.

Exam Timings:
The total duration of the M.Sc. admission test for IITs will be 2 hours and 30 minutes (180 minutes).

Number of Questions:
The question paper of JAM will comprise of as many as 60 questions.

Total Marks:
The paper of JAM will carry total marks of 100.

Type of Questions:
There question will comprise questions of objective type and short answer type besides that of multiple selective types.

Candidates can choose to appear in one of the seven test papers for JAM:
