Hello sir I want to become an electrical engineer and fro that I want to join IIT Hyderabad. Can you please tell me details to get admission at IIT Hyderabad in the department of Electrical Engineering and the courses offered by this department of IIT Hyderabad?

B.Tech Electrical engineering admission:


Admission to the B.Tech program is through IIT-Joint Entrance Examination (Main/Advanced).

The JEE is a common admission test for candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech program. It is conducted by all the IITs in the months of April-May every year.

The EE department offers the following MTech programs:

MTech (TA) - This program is similar to MTech programs offered by most IITs. Students take intensive courses during the first year. In the second year they carry out research activities under the supervision of a professor. Teaching Assistantships(TA) are available for this program.

MTech (RA) - This program has greater research component than a two year MTech program. Research assistantship(RA) is available for this program. There are two rounds of admission in this program - Aug and Jan
