The Projects done by Robotics Club, IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Guwahati in 2014 are as follows: Projects 2014 HUMANOID ROBOT DESCRIPTION: To make a interactive Humanoid robot from scratch. DRAWING ROBOT DESCRIPTION: The aim of the project is to build a drawing bot with 2 degrees of freedom which can make basic portraits. AUTOMATED INTELLIGENT CHESS DESCRIPTION: To design and fabricate an automatic mechanical chess platform, which runs a chess engine for autonomous chess playing from the computer side. The most important part of this project is to make the chess engine, which would give a little insight into the world of intelligent machines. FAIR- FIRST AUTONOMOUS INTELLIGENT ROBOT DESCRIPTION: To design, build, and develop a simple autonomous indoor navigation robot that is capable of performing the required tasks. ROBOTIC ARM DESCRIPTION: A Robotic arm which is controlled by Arduino, which further be controlled by gesture. RFID BASED SECURITY AND ATTENDANCE SYSTEM FOR SAC DESCRIPTION: The main objective of this project is to implement both security and mark attendance using RFID tags. SMART LINE FOLLOWING BOT DESCRIPTION: This project aims to design a fast, autonomous robot which can track a black line on a white background with additional features such as auto obstacles detection, wireless vehicle status data transfer to server. SWARM ROBOTICS DESCRIPTION: Approach to the coordination of multirobot systems. AUTOMATED ROOM CLEANER DESCRIPTION: We will be making a room cleaner capable of cleaning the floor without any human interaction apart from turning it on and off.
