As per your request, I am giving you details of the Summer Research Fellowship Programme offered by the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Introduction:

IIT Delhi offers the Summer Research Fellowship Programme to M.E./M.Tech students of engineering students other than IITs to explore the innovative research and development project under the IIT delhi faculties.

Eligibility:

M.Tech./M.E. applicants, who has completed at least 1 year of study towards an engineering degree and has secured at least 70% marks of CGPA of 7.5 (on a10 point scale) at the end of 1st Semester, in her/his respective programme will be eligible to apply for this fellowship

How to Apply:

Candidate need to apply online at official website of the IIT Delhi. Students need to have following documents at time of online applications.

Photograph (Jpg format, 200x230 pixels, maximum size 100kb)
Consolidated Grade Card (Pdf format)
Rank Certificate (Pdf format)

No Objection Certificate (Pdf format) from the parent institution stating the starting and ending dates for carrying out full time research work at IIT Delhi under the fellowship programme.
The uploaded documents should be clear and legible.




Important Dates:

Online Application Portal will be open until 13th March, 2015 (17:00 hours).

Selection List
List of selected Fellows will be displayed by last week of March, 2015 on the website.

Fellowship Start Date
Summer work can start after 14th May 2015. Institute vacation periods are available on the website.

Support will given to students are:

Cost of travel (Train-Sleeper class) in the country, to and from IIT Delhi.
Stay at IIT Delhi during the visit(s), including boarding and lodging in the Institute hostels; and
Fellowship of Rs. 500/- per week.
The fellow will register at IIT Delhi as a visiting student; she/he will not be required to pay institute registration fees.
