Indian Institute of Technology Delhi organized Summer Research Fellowship Programme for B tech ECE students .. here I am giving you information about required eligibility to apply for summer Internship in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi

Fellowship duration :
Duration
The Fellowship work can be done in a period of 8-12 weeks

Eligibility :
Any undergraduate student, who has completed at least 2 years of study
towards an engineering degree and is amongst top ten positions in her/his
respective programme will be eligible to apply for this fellowship. Students
who will be completing this requirement by May 2012 are also eligible.

Important tentative dates ::
Application Deadline
Online Application Portal will be open until March, 2014
List of selected Fellows will be displayed by April, 2014 on the website.
Fellowship Start Date
Summer work can start after May 2014.

For admission in fellowship programme you have to submit the following documents :
Photograph (Jpg format, 200x230 pixels, maximum size 100kb)
Consolidated Grade Card (Pdf format)
Rank Certificate (Pdf format)
No Objection Certificate (Pdf format)

Candidates who are pursuing pre final year or final year of Engineering courses can apply for summer internship program in IIT Delhi.

Selection Procedure for Summer Internship Program in IIT Delhi

Candidates will be Selected on the Basis of the Scores obtained in the last Examination Attended and Performance in Personal Interview Conducted by the Institute.

Selected Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5000/- as operational charge.

Fee payment can be done by taking a Demand Draft in favor of “FITT, IIT Delhi” from any Nationalized Bank

Selected Candidates will be Awarded Internship Stipends.

The stipend amount will be based on the quality of the project and it will be decided by the Faculty Head.

Some of the Research Areas are Listed Below :

Embedded Systems
Network Security and Management
Wired/wireless broadband networks
FPGA based design
Signal Processing
Image Processing
Opto-electronics and optical communication

Application Procedure :

Candidates are Required to apply in the Prescribed Application Format.

They have to submit No-Objection Letter from the Head of their institution. Apart from this candidates will have to produce at least two Letters of Reference in prescribed format from Faculty of IIT Delhi. They should submit the statement of proposed area of work and proposed faculty along with the application and details of fee payment.
