I want to do computer programming course from IIT Bombay and want to know is there any computer programming open courses available in IIT Bombay if yes then please provide me the lists of all open courses available here and tell me is there any online course also available?

IIT Bombay launched the first set of courses on the MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) platform of leading non-profit online education provider, edX.

The courses available are:

Introduction to Computer Programming Part 1 & Part 2,

Thermodynamics

1. Introduction to Computer Programming Part 1 & Part 2,

It is a 6-week course and corresponds to the first half of the Computer Programming course CS101 at IIT Bombay.

In this part, basic concepts of computer programming are introduced starting with the notion of an algorithm.

This 6-week course provides students with a foundation in computer programming.

The Part 2 course is also of 6-week duration and builds on the basic foundation in following areas.

Computer programming;
Discusses structures,
Pointers, and
File management;
An introduction to Object Oriented Programming

Students, who register for these courses, will have the option to either access to all course material, tests, and online discussion forum for free.

Verified Certificate of Achievement for about Rs. 1,500 ($25).
