Re: IIT Bombay Final Year Project

Currently, there are 12 projects running in Department of Electrical Engineering of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay with funding more than Rs. 1 crore each.

Centre for Excellence in Nanoelectronics is funded by Ministry of Communications and IT, National Centre for Photovoltaic Research was set up in 2010 (MNRE), Tata Teleservices IIT Bombay Centre of Excellence in Telecommunication (TICET) was setup in 2008, Bharti Centre for Communication is being funded by Bharti Foundation, Power Anser Labs is supported by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

Major Funding Agencies

MHRD, DIT, BARC, DST, DRDO, ISRO, MTNL, BSNL, L&T Infotech, Tata Teleservices, Bharti, Texas Instruments, Intel, Microsoft Research, TCS, Applied Materials (USA) and Hitachi (Japan) are the major funding agencies for various projects.
