Infrastructure at the Permanent Campus:
The Foundation Stone of the permanent campus at Argul (near Jatni) was laid on 12th
February 29 and the construction activity started in 211.

The progress of construction activity took time and the following of the buildings were inaugurated very recently:

Mahanadi Hall of Residence (Boys Hostel) with a capacity of 8 students,

Subarnarekha Hall of Residence (Girls Hostel) with a capacity of 2 students,

A staff quarters block of 4 quarters,

A 2 seated community centre,

A 4 room guest house,

A mini—shopping arena


Academic Schools: The institute has the following seven (7) Schools offering academic programmes:
School of Basic Sciences

School of Earth, Ocean & Climate Sciences

School of Electrical Sciences

School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management

School of Infrastructure

School of Mechanical Sciences

School of Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

New Academic Programmes: The following new academic programmes have been introduced in the year 214-15:
