Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is Asia’s first institute that offer courses related to space science, technology and applications. It is one of national level institute dedicated for the study of space science which is located at Trivandrum, Kerala.


Post Graduate Admission

The admission process in Post Graduate Course in IIST (Indian Institute Of Space Science and Technology) is over for the session 2014-15.

IIST offers M.Tech. Courses under
(i) Regular Academic stream for admission of general candidates, and under
(ii) DoS / ISRO stream, for admission of young scientists and engineers, in the areas relevant to ISRO programmes.

Admission Process
Admission to post graduate courses is based on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score.

Applicants having first class marks in graduation or Master of Science programmes are eligible to apply.

Applicants below the age of 28 years at the time of admission are eligible to apply.

Reserve category Applicants can avail the age relaxation as per the government norms.

Applicants are required to send applications in prescribed formats to the institution.

Applicants will be short listed on the basis of academic records and GATE score for test and then followed by personal interview.
