Indian Institute of Science Education & Research IISER Aptitude Test (IISER Aptitude Test) is conducted for providing admissions to the five year BS-MS Dual Degree Program

IISER Aptitude Test Eligibility

Students passed class XII in 2014 or appearing in 2015 in science stream with marks above or equal to the cut-off percentage declared by DST as eligibility for INSPIRE fellowship.

For OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/PD category candidates, there is a 5% relaxation in the DST cut-off.

The cut-off for SC/ST candidates is 55% in class XII for all boards OR

Imp: Candidates satisfying at least one of the following two criteria are eligible to apply for admission to Five Year BS-MS Dual Degree program without IISER Aptitude Test.

IISER Aptitude Test Syllabus

IISER Aptitude Test Consists of questions from the following gave subjects.

Biology
Chemistry
Mathematics and
Physics

IISER Aptitude Test Pattern

IISER Aptitude Test consists of 60 multiple choice questions 15 from each subjects.

The duration of the exam is 3 hours time.

3 marks given for each correct answer and one mark deducted for every wrong answer.

IISER Aptitude Test Exam Dates

This exam is normally held in the month of July of every year.

IISER Aptitude Test Fee

There is a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 600 (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST Category candidates.
