IISc through AIPMT

Hello sir I want to take admission in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) for doing Bachelor of Science (Research) programme so will you please tell me is this Institute offer Admission through AIPMT Score also??

Indian Institute of Science is a public university for scientific research and higher education located in Bangalore, India.

It was established in 1909 with active support from Jamsetji Tata and H.H. Sir Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, the Maharaja of Mysore.

Bachelor of Science (Research) programme

Duration: 4 years

Eligibility Criteria:

-Applicants ought to have completed II PUC/Class 12/Equivalent exam

-To be eligible for admissions, candidates are also required to have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects at the Class 12 level. In addition to these three main subjects, candidates who have studied subjects like Statistics, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics etc will also be considered eligible for admissions

-The qualifying exam should have been passed with First Class (60% or its equivalent grade). The same requirement for the candidates belonging to SC/ST is limited to qualifying the exam.

-Candidates should have also appeared for any one of the national-level entrance examinations i.e JEE Main, JEE Advanced, AIPMT or the KVPY Scholarship test

Candidates applying for admissions via AIPMT 2016 shall be considered for admissions only if they have written the exam in the year 2016 and have secured the minimum marks that have been prescribed for their category, as indicated below:

General: 60%

OBC NCL: 54%

SC/ST/PH: 30%

Important Dates:
-Starting Date for issue of online applications: 02 February 2016
-Deadline for submission of online applications: 29 April 2016.
-Dates for the first set of admissions/allotments to be made to KVPY candidates: Second week of May 2016
-Dates for additional offer of admissions and seat allotment: June/July 2016
-Course commencement date: First week of August 2016
