Indian Institute of Science IISC, Bangalore was established in 1909 and is today a top ranking Institution loyal to post graduate education and research in all branches of Science and Engineering.
The IISC offers Young Engineering Fellowship Programme (YEFP). It is the best placement provide for their students. It is designed to enhance consciousness and interest in high quality academic research among young Engineering students through a goal oriented Summer Mini- Project (SUMP) undertaken at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Application procedure:
Original Study certificate from the Head of the Institution/Registrar of University
Attested Photocopies of the Marks cards issued by the University
Attested Photocopies of the Rank certificates, papers presented, design contests participated, projects executed, score/rank in Mathematics Olympiad, and any other awards/distinctions obtained etc.
Two page write-up on the intended project work at IISC.

Eligibility:
You are invited from interested students and teachers from all universities and colleges affiliated to UGC/AICTE/MCI/Accredited Institutions of State Universities for these Fellowships

How to apply:
You should include a brief resume
You should include a recommendation letter from a teacher
The selected candidate may work with the assigned guide for two months any time during the calendar year, preferably during the summer.

Selected candidates work with one of the IISC Faculty members and learn various techniques used in research for a period of one month during May-June.
Stipend: – Rs. 5,000/- + Book grant of Rs. 1,500/- + Free boarding and lodging + To & fro II class train fare
Location: – IISc Bangalore
Duration: – 1 month (between May-June)
