Hey!!! As you want to get the information of the IISc. Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering 2016 which is only for SC/ST Students so here I am providing you information about this to you

Eligibility Criteria:
SC/ST students studying I year M.Sc in science disciplines (Biological, Physical, Chemical and Mathematical Sciences) or III year B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree, during the academic year 2015-16.


Selection Criteria:
ISc. will evolve a suitable criteria for selecting the candidates for the programme.


Financial Support:
IISc. will provide:

-Travelling allowance equivalent to II Class (sleeper) train fare from nearest station of College/residence to IISc. and back.

-Free boarding and lodging (on sharing basis) at IISc.

-Fellowship of Rs.5,000/- and a book grant of Rs.1500/-


Features of the Programme:

Selected candidates will work with one of the Faculty members of IISc., and learn various techniques used in research for a period of one month during June-July 2016.


Last date for submission of filled in application form is 20th April 2016.
