The Indian Institute of Science was established in 1909. The Institute now offers a 4-year undergraduate B.Sc. programme, in addition to Master’s degrees, Integrated Ph.D, and and Ph.D. programmes.

You are asking for the Ph D (Integrated) program of the IISc. The IISc Ph D (Integrated) programs in followings:
(1) Biological Sciences,
(2) Chemical Sciences,
(3) Physical Sciences and
(4) Mathematical Sciences.

ELIGIBILITY

The Candidates who have minimum of first class in B Sc or equivalent degree in Physical, Mathematical, Chemical, Biological Sciences (including Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences) are eligible to apply to an appropriate disciplines.

BE / B Tech degree holders are eligible to apply only to Mathematical Sciences discipline.

The short-listing of candidates for interview is based on the performance in JAM 2013.

Indian Institute for Science (IISc) is a public university for scientific research and higher education located in Bengaluru. It was founded in 1899 with active support from Jamsetji Tata it is also locally known as the "Tata Institute".

Ph D (Integrated) Programs:

Eligibility:
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary Sciences/ Agriculture as applicable to individual discipline, under the 10+2+3/4 system, are eligible to apply to this program.

Candidates with BE/ B Tech degree are eligible to apply ONLY to the Mathematical Sciences discipline.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates who seek admission to the Ph D (Integrated) programs at IISc should qualify in JAM and submit the online application through JAM website giving IISc as their choice, immediately after the JAM results.
