Re: IISC Bangalore Genetics
The Department of Molecular Reproduction, Development and Genetics is one of the best departments of Indian Institute of Science. Research in the Department of Molecular Reproduction, Development and Genetics is diverse, ranging from bacterial and human genetics to signal transduction, mammalian reproduction, developmental biology, cancer and stem cell biology. The underlying theme is molecular level studies of cellular functioning in normal and pathological conditions. University will approach this in a variety of ways, using model systems such as Drosophila, Caenorhabditis elegans, as well as transgenic, knockout and humanized mouse models.
