The main aim of the Integrated PhD programme being introduced at IIRBS under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi University is to identify talented and dedicated Bachelor Degree holders with a keen sense of scientific enquiry to motivate them to pursue high priority research in frontier areas of science. Institute for Intensive Research in Basic Sciences (IIRBS) Integrated Interdisciplinary PhD Programme (MSc. + PhD) Admission The selection procedure consists of a thematic objective (50% weightage)-cum-comprehensive (50% weightage) test which is followed by a final selection to test the aptitude for scientific research and experimental skill. Eligibility Candidates with Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/ Physics/ Biology/ Mathematics under 10+2+3 systems are eligible to apply for admission to Integrated PhD program. Candidates with BE/B.Tech/B.Pharm/medical/paramedical sciences/ any Engineering or Science based bachelor degree holders including agricultural sciences (with minimum 60% of marks) are eligible. The candidate must have mathematics either in the +2 level or bachelors level as one of the subjects. Chemistry stream: B Sc/ BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects with Mathematics at Plus 2 level. Physics stream: B Sc/ BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree with Physics and Mathematics at plus 2 level. Biology stream: B Sc/ BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree in Physical, Chemical or Biological Sciences (including Pharmaceutical, Veterinary, Biotechnology and Agricultural Sciences) with Biology as one of the subjects in Plus 2 level Mathematical stream: B Sc/ BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree with Physics and Chemistry at plus 2 level.
