What are eligibility criteria to do the Post Graduate Programmes in Management course from the IIM Kozhikode? I have completed my bachelor’s degree in science. Am I eligibility to take admission in IIM Kozhikode for PGPM course?

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is one of the 13 Indian Institutes of Management set up by the Government of India. The Institute, founded in 1996 in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala.

the Admission into the IIM Kozihkode is given through the CAT Entrance Examination here I am giving you the details of the CAT Entrance Examination that is as given below :

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (4 years after 10+2/Post B.Sc./Post Diploma ) or B.E/B. Tech equivalent examinations, of Professional Societies, recognized by MHRD/UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institution of Engineers-India, AMICE by the Institute of Civil Engineers India).

Any Qualification recognized by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi which is equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree awarded by UGC recognized University/Institutions.

Admission Seats:

15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC)
7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
27% of seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the “non creamy” layer (NC-OBC).

Paper pattern:

The CAT falls into three sections that are as follow :

Quantitative aptitude
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Verbal ability


Duration and paper pattern:

The duration of the test is 2hours and 35 minutes. The Tutorial letting the candidates how to take the test lasts for 15 minutes. The part on quantitative ability and date interpretation carries 30 questions and the duration is seventy minutes Verbal ability and logical reasoning too carries 30 questions and the stipulated time is 70 minutes. In total there are 60 questions.
