Can you please tell me the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is Government College or private College? Also tell me about its approval and the recognizations of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad? After getting degree from this College can I apply for government job?

I have completed B.Tech degree from Nirma University and now want to do MBA Course from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). So tell me is the IIM Ahmedabad Government College or Private College?

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) was established in 1961.

It is a public business school located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

It was the second Indian Institute of Management to be established, after IIM Calcutta.

The IIMA became the first management school in the country to be awarded EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation by the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development).

It is a Government Business School that offers PGP Program in several disciplines.
