The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad MBA admissions are based on the marks obtained in the Common Admission Test (CAT). It is an entrance examination conducted by the IIMs India.

Eligibility for MBA:
The applicant should hold Bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

Important dates:
January 30, 2014: Last date for submission of completed application material.
March/April, 2014: Interviews for short listed candidates.
Last week of April 2014: Offer of Admission mailed to selected candidates.

Eligibility

Masters Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks and Bachelors degree with at least 50 percent marks.

Five year/four year Integrated Masters Degree programme in any discipline with at least 55 percent marks

Professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, with at least 55% marks.
(OR)
4-year/8-semester Bachelors degree with at least 60 percent marks

Validity of Score other than CAT:

Two years from the date of test and should valid on the deadline of submission of application form.
