The IIIT Hyderabad is admitted candidates for B.Tech Admission through JEE. The admission authorities are conducting admissions to B.Tech programmes through channels like JEE Main, Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination - UGEE CSD/ ECD/ CND/ CLD/ NK/ NTSE or KVPY, Olympiad, Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC).

The seat allocation of the JEE mode has already commenced along with the other modes of admission.

Eligibility criteria for IIIT Hyderabad:


JEE Main
Candidates must fulfil JEE Main Eligibility Criteria Requirements
Must qualify in JEE Main

DASA UG
Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
Must have completed class 12th class or equivalent by May or earlier with minimum 60% marks (or 6.0 grade on 10 point scale) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

NTSE-KVPY
Should have passed class 12th and must have qualified for (i) NTSE, (OR) (ii) KVPY

Olympiads
Should have passed Class 12th in and students selected for training in Science and Linguistics to represent India in International Olympiads.

SPEC Mode
The candidates should have extraordinary talent or background such as:
Selection in the Central Government Scheme UDAAN
Studying in a six year integrated Class XII + four year undergraduate programme and completing the second year of study in May .
