IIIT Hyderabad 3rd Year Entry
 

I am doing diploma in engineering and after it I want to do B.Tech course from the IIIT Hyderabad. Can I take direct admission in 3rd year in B.Tech course through Lateral Entry after diploma, If yes then tell me about the procedure for admission?

IIIT Hyderabad LEEE 2018 Admission is for those students who have finished two years of B.E / B.Tech and wish to work on research problems.

The admission in the courses will be granted on the basis of entrance exam, followed by interview round.

For the Lateral Entry Admission, the candidates should have finished two years of the course by July 2018.

In all, there are 30 seats are offered under LEEE admission, in CSD and ECD courses.

Courses Offered to LEEE Candidate

CSD Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering and Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering by Research

ECD Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Master of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering by Research

LEEE Eligibility Criteria

For CSD Course Candidate is completing II year of B.Tech / B.E in CSE / IT by July 2018.

For ECD Course Candidates is completing II year of B.Tech / B.E in ECE / ETE / EIE / EEE by July 2018

The candidate should have secured an aggregate of 80% marks, at the end of the 3rd semester.

LEEE Admission Process

The admission will be garnted on the basis of the Entrance examination and interview.

First, the candidates will have to appear for the entrance examination.

Candidates who will qualify it, will be called for next round, i.e. interview round.
