Re: IIIT Bangalore Summer Internship

IIITB introduced a 5 year Integrated M.Tech. (iMTech) program from 2012 onwards for students who have completed or are completing Plus Two (or equivalent). At the end of five years of the program, successful students get an M.Tech degree.

The duration of Summer Internship in 5 year Integrated M.Tech (iMTech) program offered by International Institute of Information Technology or IIIT-B is 2.5 months (May-Jul).

Eligibility

The minimum qualification for admission is a first-class in 10 + 2 (or equivalent) with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Students expecting to complete the minimum requirement by August 2016 may also apply.

Detailed list of Qualifying Exams
1. The +2 level exam in the 10+2 pattern of exam of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School Certificate Exam, New Delhi
2. Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Exam conducted by a recognized Board/University.
3. Final Exam of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
4. Any Public School/Board/University Exam in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system
5. H.S.C. Vocational Exam.
6. Senior Secondary School Exam conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
7. 3 or 4-year diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

Selection Procedure
Admissions is on the basis of score of Paper-I of JEE (Main) announced under the Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) - 2016, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education.

There is no fixed cut-off of JEE (Main) Score in Paper 1 for admissions to the iMTech programme.
