The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

It was established to contribute in the skill building for the external trade sector of India.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has recognized IIFT as Grade 'A' Institution in 2005 and in 2015.

MBA (International Business) is a Six-trimester management programme with a focus on International Business for developing a competent cadre of business executives to meet India’s rising requirements for trained personnel in International Business Management field.

The Programs aims at providing a comprehensive coverage incorporating all the important areas and disciplines relevant to international business activities.

IIFT MBA (IB) Admission Exam Pattern:
The IIFT Admission Test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English).
It generally consists of questions covering the following areas:

i) English Comprehension
ii) General Knowledge and Awareness
iii) Logical Reasoning
iv) Quantitative Analysis
