IGNOU And NET

Hi I have completed master degree course from Indira Gandhi National Open University IGNOU and now I am interested to apply for UGC National Eligibility Test NET exam so can I eligible to apply for this exam?

Hello sir I had done my masters from IGNOU and here I want to know am I eligible for NET or not so here can you please give me details ?

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and this examination is Conducted by UGC, Twice in a year for the post of Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship.

As per my idea yes you are eligible for NET Exam

Eligibility

Only candidates of Indian origin are allowed to appear for NET.

Your qualification should at least be post graduation.

At least 55 percent marks are required in PG course.

If belong to SC or ST then 50 percent marks are required.

The final year students are also welcomed to appear.

There is no restriction on how many times you can appear.

UGC NET consists of three papers

General studies (50 objective questions)

Your optional paper (50 objective questions)

Your optional paper (Subjective questions)
