IGNOU BPP Equivalent

I want to join the BPP Certification Program of IGNOU. Some one said me that the BPP Program is equivalent to HSC Certificate? If this information is right, give me its official notification that proves the BPP Program of IGNOU is equivalent to HSC Certificate? Give me details about eligibility criteria and selection procedure.

BPP course from IGNOU is Bachelor's Preparatory Programme. This course has been introduced by IGNOU for those candidates who wish to pursue higher degree course but do not have 10+2 certificate for various reasons. This preparatory course is not equivalent to 10+2 course. It is valid for admission to IGNOU’s non-formal stream of BA/ B.Com etc

Yes, IGNOU provides BPP degree for candidates who are interested in pursuing bachelor degree from IGNOU only.

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Eligibility:

No formal qualification

This Programme is offered by the University to those students who wish to do Bachelors Degree of IGNOU but do not have the essential qualification of having passed 10+2.
