As you want I am here telling you about the admission criteria for admission in M.Sc. in Economics course of Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR). M.Sc. in Economics: Admission Eligibility: Minimum qualification for admission to M.Sc. program include one of the following degrees : B.A. / B.Sc. in Economics / B.Com. / B.Stat. / B.Sc. (Physics or Mathematics) / B.Tech./ B.E. or equivalent degree. Secure at least Second Division for Economics Discipline . Secure at least First Division for other disciplines. Candidates must have studied mathematics at the higher secondary level . Admission process: Written tests Interview. Written tests consists : Analytical, Verbal Mathematical Secrtion. Course Structure : Two-year program. First Year course work exclusively focuses on the following compulsory courses: Microeconomics-I and II, Macroeconomics-I and II, Statistics and Econometrics-I and II, Mathematics for Economists, Development Economics. Second year, three additional compulsory courses viz., Indian Economy Energy and Environment-I and Public Economics.
