Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced recruitment notification for recruitment on various engineer posts . For that it conduct IES exam.

Important Dates IES 2016 Exam:

Last Date for Submission of Application form:
25th March 2016

Pay of the Application Fee Date:
24th March 2016 (one day before the closing date)

Date of Exam:
27th May 2016

Result of written test will release in month of June –July . Qualified candidates in written test will appear in interview.

UPSC IES Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:
a citizen of India,
or a subject of Nepal,
or a subject of Bhutan,
or a Tibetan refugee

Age Limit:

21 years -30 years

Upper age limit of will be relax able as:
Up to 35 years in the case of Govt. Servants of the following categories, if they are employed in a department/office under the control of any of the authorities mentioned

5 Years in the case of SC/ST candidates .

3 Years in the case of OBC candidate

Educational Qualifications
Candidate must have obtained a degree in Engineering from a recognized University.
