Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Indian Engineering Services exam, here are details:

Eligibility

Nationality:

A candidate must be either:

A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or

Age Limit:
Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years

Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must have an Engineering degree from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central Government or State Legislature in India.

The candidate should have post graduate degree in Economics/ Statistical from any recognized university/ its equivalent

Selection Process:
The selection process will based on the performance in Written exam and Interview.

Exam Pattern:
In IES exam there are 2 stages-
Written exam
Personality Test

Application Fee:
No Application Fee for SC / ST / PH / Female Candidates
Rs. 200/- for Others

Important dates
Start Date for IES 2015 Registration:
22nd March 2015

Last Date for IES Registration 2015:
21st April 2015

Date of ESE IES 2015 Exam:
20th June 2015( 3 Days exam)

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality :
candidate must be either :
citizen of India, or
subject of Nepal, or
subject of Bhutan, or
Tibetan refugee

Age Limits:
21 years - 30 years

Educational qualifications:

Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized university (or) an Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India).

IES 2015 Notification:-
Date of Notification:- 14.03.2015
Last date for receipt of applications:- 10.04.2015 (FRIDAY)
Date of commencement of Examination:- 12.06.2015 (FRIDAY)
Duration of the Exam:- 3 DAYS.
