IES exam B.Tech Mechanical Student eligibility?

Please tell me is B.Tech Mechanical Student Eligible for IES exam if, yes then tell me what is the eligibility for that????????

As you are saying that you are B.Tech Mechanical Student and want to give the IES exam so, wants to know the eligibility for that so, yes, you are eligible for the exam. Here I am providing you the eligibility for the same.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have degree in engineering from university recognized by UGC.

Candidates should be Indian.

Age limit:

General category candidates should be in between of 21-30 yrs
SC/ST category candidates should be in between of 21-35 yrs
OBC category candidates should be in between of 21-33 yrs

Number of attempts permitted:

General category candidates can attempt 4 times.
OBC category candidates can attempt 7 times.
PH category candidates can attempt 7 times.
SC/ST category candidates can attempt No Limit
