Re: In IELTS Difference Between General And Academic
As you Asking for the Difference Between the General and Academic Traininf Test of IELTS the I’ll list the differences between the both: IELTS General and IELTS Academic. You decide which one is easier for you. Difference Between IELTS General and IELTS Academic. Test As per my opinion, the difficulty level of both the tests is almost same. The format of the four modules : Speaking, Reading, Writing, Listening is same. The only difference lies in the questions which are asked. The Speaking questions are same for both the tests. Same in the Writing Module, the difficulty level of the questions are same. The Listening recordings are different and I think the recordings of the General exam are quite (very very small) difficult. Because the recordings are from some TV shows and news and they tend to speak quite fast. I remember once I did a Listening test of General exam and in first section they were explaining how to bake a Tanzanian cake and in another one, they were talking about the life of some Egyptian king. The girl was speaking was quite fast and I ended up in getting 23/40 marks. (I clearly remember my score in that test) On the other hand, the Reading paragraphs are quite difficult of Academic test. The paragraphs are usually from technical magazines and newspapers. In General, you may end up getting texts from local leaflets, newspapers and notice boards. |
