As you asking I am telling IELTS Alternative exam for admission in universities of Australia, is PTE and CAE, PTE Academic exam is definitely an attractive alternative to the IELTS exam for visa applicants. Australian government accepted the Pearson PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) and TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based test) as an accurate measure of your ability. Both these tests can be taken online at various testing centres in South Africa. The Pearson PTE Academic can be taken in Johannesburg and Cape Town and the TOEFL iBT in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and as always, the IELTS can still be taken in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth.
