IE University is a private university. it is owned by for-profit business firm Institute de Empresa S.L. its main campus are situated in Segovia, Castile and León, and in Madrid, Comunidad de Madrid.

Admission:
For taking admission at IE the candidate has to give an admissions test. You can either take the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) and the ACT Assessment Test or CAS exams, (international admissions tests that are used by the most prestigious universities worldwide) or pass the IE University admissions test.

The IE University admission test is similar to the SAT test. It measures the basic verbal and mathematical abilities. It tests the ability to reason rather than memorization, and it does not require any special preparation. A candidate can take this test at Segovia campus (Spain) which is the head office in Madrid (María de Molina, 13), or in any of 20 international offices worldwide.
