IDBI Bank time to time makes Recruitment for the post of assistant manager. This exam conducted various section like Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude etc here is some detail of it

Paper pattern

4.General Awareness (With Special Reference to Banking)

Exam Syllabus :-

Test of Reasoning :
Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.

Quantitative Aptitude Test :

Number Systems :
Computation of Whole Number, Decimal and Fractions, Relationship between numbers.

Fundamental arithmetical operations :
Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and Distance, Time and Work.

Algebra :
Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds (simple problems) and Graphs of Linear Equations.

Mensuration :
Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square Base.

Data Interpretation, Pie Chart, Bar graph/ diagrams, table etc.

English Language :
Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.

General Awareness:-
Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture & Banking Sector. Some questions from Marketing can come in the exam.
