Get the phone enabled for SMS service from your service provider

Set the SMSC message Centre Number on the mobile phone once your operator provides this number

Register yourself as a user with any of your nearest IDBI bank branch.

While using SMS Banking service using SMS,
a user has to give a request as a short message through a mobile phone. The short message should be in a particular format.
The message has to be sent to 9820346920 or 9821043718.
After the message is sent, within few seconds, the user will receive a response on his or her mobile phone as a short message.
