Cost and works accountant (CWA) is a descendant of The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). Stages of course: Foundation Course Intermediate Course Final Course Eligibility for Admission: For Foundation Course: Applicant should have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution. Applicant should have Passed Senior Secondary Examination under 10+2 scheme of a recognized Board or an Examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent or Applicant should have passed National Diploma in Commerce Examination held by the All India Council for Technical Education or any State Board of Technical Education under the authority of the said All India Council, or Applicant should have passed Diploma in Rural Service Examination conducted by the National Council of Higher Education. For Eligibility for Admission: Applicant should have Passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2)and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Or Applicant should have Passed Graduation course in any discipline other than Fine Arts/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CAT of the Institute/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CAT of the Institute For Final Course : Applicant should complete at least 6 months of Practical Training in any one or more of the organization specified in Appendix A, and in areas as specified in Appendix B. Or Applicant should have must have an experience of at least 6 months in any one or more of the organization specified in Appendix A, and in areas as specified in Appendix B . Or Applicant should have enroll for the I- CMA Training Module as indicated in Appendix C. Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) courses has three stages of the courses, theses are followings: Foundation course Intermediate course Final course Eligibility Criteria: Foundation course Applicant need to pass class 10th or class 12th form recognized board. Course duration: 6 month Intermediate course Applicant need to pass class 12th form recognized board. Applicant need to clear the Foundation course Final Course: Applicant need to pass Intermediate course Applicant need to pass gradution degree in any decipline form recognized board. Applicant who passed all eight papers of the CMA intermediate course ICWA 2015 Paper Pattern: Syllabus 2008:- Paper – 1& 2 (100 Marks) Time : 10 A.M. to 12.00 Noon Paper 1: Organisation and Management Fundamentals ( 50 Marks ) Paper 2: Accounting ( 50 Marks) Paper – 3 & 4 (100 Marks) Time : 2 P.M. to 4.00 P.M Paper 3: Economics and Business Fundamentals ( 50 Marks) Paper 4: Business Mathematics and Statistics Fundamentals ( 50 Marks) Syllabus 2012:- Paper – 1& 2 (100 Marks) Time : 10 A.M. to 12.00 Noon Paper 1: Fundamentals of Economics and Management ( 50 Marks ) Paper 2: Fundamentals of Accounting ( 50 Marks) Paper – 3 & 4 (100 Marks) Time : 2 P.M. to 4.00 P.M Paper 3: Fundamentals of Laws & Ethics ( 50 Marks) Paper 4: Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics ( 50 Marks) Total Questions : 100 (Multiple Choice Questions) Maximum Marks : 100 (Each Question will carry 1 Mark).
