Cost and Management Accounting (ICWAI or CMA) is course in which candidates learn about the Management Accounting ,auditing and Cost Accounting.

This course main focus is Cost Accounting however you will learn other finance related subjects also.

This course is run by one institution ICWA all over India.

It has more than 65 centers in India,you will also find any center near your city through it's official website.

Collect the admission form from the center and submit.

Admissions are usually open throughout the year.

The ICWA course exams (Foundation, Intermediate and Final) are conducted twice a year in June month and in December.

Eligibility For ICWAI

10+2 passed or equivalent qualification.

Graduated can enroll for II stage examination directly and can skip the I stage.

There are 3 stages in ICWAI

Foundation
Executive
Final

ICWA :: Foundation level subjects
Paper 1 : Organization & Management Fundamentals
Paper 2 : Accounting
Paper 3 : Economics and Business Fundamentals
Paper 4:Business Mathematics and Statistics Fundamentals
[All paper are of Three Hours and 100 marks]

ICWA :; Intermediate /executive course comprises of two Groups.

Group-I
Financial Accounting
Commercial & Industrial Laws and Auditing
Applied Direct Taxation
Group-II
Cost and Management Accounting
Operation Management & Information System
Applied Indirect Taxation

The program is offered through two mode correspondence as well as through oral coaching at ICWAI study centers

The fee structure could varies accordingly.

After completing the ICWAI you can become Cost Accountant of any company/organization and will be able to help the company in reduction of cost of the production .

Cost and works accountant (CWA) is a descendant of The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). ICWA course is conducted in 3 different stages.

ICWA involves –
Foundation
Intermediate
Final course.

The minimum age for applying for the ICWA course is 17 years.

Foundation Course:

Eligibility for Admission:

(a) Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.

(b) 10+2 scheme of a recognized Board or an Examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto or has passed National Diploma in Commerce Examination held by the All India Council for Technical Education or any State Board of Technical Education under the authority of the said All India Council, or the Diploma in Rural Service Examination conducted by the National Council of Higher Education.

Candidates who are waiting for the result can apply for provisional admission

Fee:

Cost of Prospectus - Rs. 250/-

Documents to be enclosed with application form:

2. Attested copy of 10+2 Certificate or Marks Statement

Intermediate Course:

Eligibility –

(a) 10+2 and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India/ Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CAT of the Institute/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CAT of the Institute

(b) Passed Foundation of ICSI/Intermediate of ICAI along with 10+2.

(c) List of other qualifying examination are given vides Annexure VI of prospectus.

Candidates who are waiting for the result can apply for provisional admission
