Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) is the professional authority which was established in order to regulate and control the Cost Accounts practicing all over India.

Various Stages of ICWAI Course --

Foundation Course –

Duration: 6 months
Eligibility:
You should have passed 10+2 from any recognized board

Intermediate Course --

It intermediate course in ICWAI

Duration - one year (12 months)

Eligibility:
-You should have finished graduation
- Candidates who have finished the foundation course are eligible for the intermediate course.
- You can also register directly to the Intermediate level and skip the Foundation Course of ICWAI.
- You must also be above 18 years of age.

Final Course

After 12th candidates are invite for the ICWA course with commerce stream. The Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) has changed its name into The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).

ICWAI stands for Institute of Cost and Work Accountant of India whereas CMA stands for Cost management accounting.

There are 3 stages in ICWA course; CMA Foundation, Inter and Final.

After graduation candidates can apply in ICWA for intermediate course directly without foundation course.

Eligibility:

Candidates have to pass 10th class or equivalent form a recognized board.

Candidates have 10+2 from a recognized board or an examination equivalent to 10+2 which is recognized by central government.

Candidates who have diploma in commerce examination held by all India council of technical education are also applicable.

Friend I would like to tell you ICWA (Institute for Cost and Work Accountants) Course is Divided Mainly in Three Stages:

Foundation Course
Intermediate course
Final course


ICWA Course Eligibility:

Candidate has to pass 10th class or equivalent form a recognized board.
