Institute of Cost and Works Accountants is one of the leading financal schools in India. Since its inception in 1959.

As you are a graduate, you can directly apply for Intermediate Level exam without having qualified Foundation course.

Duration of the Course :
Intermediate course : 1 year

Intermediate Course of ICWAI serves as a second step for making a career as a Cost Accountant, which is very lucrative and prestigious.

All the examinations are held twice a year. One in June and another in December.

The Total Fees :
Intermediate level : Rs.34,250/-

The intermediate course of Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India (ICWAI) is the second level/second stage study after clearing the foundation course on the path of becoming a Cost Accountant.

Students can do ICWA who have completed graduation from any background are considered eligible for the Cost and Work Accountancy Course but as you said you done graduate in Mechanical Engineering, so I think you should go for further study in same. Anyways its your choice the main thing is that you can do it.

After your gradation you can admission in its 2nd stege directly which called Intermediate Course:
