Some of these factors have been listed here below Number of candidates taking the examination Difficulty level of the exam Number of seats available Reservation policies followed by the Colleges Previous year cutoff trends Performance of the candidates in the test AP ICET Cutoff List Preparation Guidelines The following guidelines have been prescribed by the exam conducting authority Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE): The total marks of APICET 2017 are 200. General candidates have to qualify the cutoff of 25 per cent marks (50 marks out of 200). No qualifying marks have been prescribed for SC and ST categories. The tie-breaker will be applied if more than one candidate scores the same marks. The criteria for tie-breaker is as follows: 1. Marks scored in section A will be considered. 2. If the tie still persists, marks obtained by candidate in section B will be referred. 3. In case the tie still continues, the tie will be resolved by taking into consideration the age of the candidate. Older candidates will be given preference. |
