Aspirants are invited to take electives at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and our affiliates. The participating affiliates are:

Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center

Mount Sinai Beth Israel Brooklyn

Bronx V.A. Medical Center

Elmhurst Hospital Center

The Mount Sinai Hospital

New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai

Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital

Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital

The basic eligibility for it as follows please feel free to have a look on that

Aspirants must have to submit application form at the Students Affairs office approximately 8-9 months before the requested elective start date.

Aspirants must be fluent in the English language to ensure proper communication with patients.

Aspirants must have to take TOEFL test achieving a minimum score of 22-30. All applications should include the official TOEFL test results.

Aspirants must have to use medical terminology, and report in attending rounds in oral presentations and record in writing patient information.

The aspirants who are attending foreign medical schools must complete the Foreign Visiting Student Application
