Exam pattern
The entrance test for IBS will be held in Computer Based mode across 100 test venues.

The exam pattern is designed to test the candidate’s aptitude and basic skills in management.

There will be a total of 125 Multiple Choice Questions and the duration of the exam is 120 minutes.

These questions will be distributed into sections like Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation & Adequacy & Quantitative Aptitude

Selections
Based on the candidate’s Score, they will be selected for the pre-admission processes. Also, candidates will also be short listed on the basis of their CAT / GMAT (NMAT by GMAC score.

The candidates are required to score minimum 60% in CAT/NMAT by GMAC or having a score of 500 in GMAT will be shortlisted for the selection rounds.

These selected will be eligible to participate in the GD and PI rounds of IBS. The final list will be based on the candidate’s overall score i.e. IBSAT or any national test score and GD & PI score.
