IBPS PO Vs SSC

Can you please tell me which exam is better Staff Selection commission Combined Graduate Level SSC CGL or Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officers IBPS PO Exam for job? Also provide me the details of both exams?

SC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) Examination is one of the biggest government job recruitment exams of India.

Every year the Staff Selection Commission conducts this CGL exam for recruitment in various Central Government Departments like Central Secretariat Service, Central Vigilance Commission, Intelligence Bureau, CBI, Ministry of Railways/ External Affairs /Defence and a few other Ministries.SSC CGL job is a 100 % government job.

SSC CGL vs IBPS PO #1: Job Profile

As an officer recruited through SSC CGL, you will be expected to:

Do clerical work in the office like answering RTI queries.
Make notes and do filing work.
Do general administration work.
Do field Jobs that involve traveling.
Carry out raids,Inspections, surveillance etc.
Help in shaping Nationwide policies by looking after the back office work.

IBPS PO: Job Profile

As a Bank PO you are expected to:

Provide services to customers
Enhance business of the bank
Handle cash activities at the bank
Manage Clearance of Payments
Manage accounts of customers
Official communication
