IBPS English Syllabus

English Section of IBPS Exam is a major part it contains approx. 40 marks. So dont take it light English language section is very major part of IBPS PO, Clerk, and SO Exam.

This particular section is comprised of 30 marks for PO examination and clerk exam respectively. The subject is comprised of 40 marks in case of clerk main examination where one will be bounded by time limits i.e. one will be allotted only 30 minutes to complete this section only.

The subject is comprised of 35 marks in case of PO main examination where one will be bounded by time limits i.e. one will be allotted only 40 minutes to complete this section only.

Vocabulary means homonyms, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, Sentence rearrangement questions, word formation; topic comprehension means the conclusion, theme detection, passage completion, and the topic rearrangement of passage, spelling, and sentence.

Topic grammar means set of rules active, passive voice, direct indirect speech. The topic general usage means phrases and idioms, Grammar, Articles, Preposition, Sentence Improvement, Spotting Error Questions, One Word Substitution, and Sentence Completion; Fill in the Blanks, etc.
