Common Written Examination (CWE) is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a qualifying exam for Jobs in 19 publis sector banks in India.

Eligibility:
The applicant should hold a degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Age limit:
Minimum: 20 Years;
Maximum: 30 Years
Age relaxation:
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe - 5 years
Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) - 3 years
Persons With Disabilities – 10 years

This entrance exam generally covers following topics:

Reasoning

Composite time of 150 minutes (2hrs 30min)

English Language

Quantitative Aptitude

General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry)

Computer Knowledge

Descriptive Paper on English Composition (Essay, Précis, Letter writing, etc.)
