The All India common written exam(CWE) to apply for PO positions is taken twice every year by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).

Paper Pattern

The written test is made up of two papers:

1) Objective test

2) Descriptive test

Objective Test

In addition to objective questions, descriptive test to test your english usage would be conducted for 25 marks (see descriptive test question pattern)

There is no negative markings incase a question is left unanswered

For each wrong answer in objective test, there is negative mark of 0.25.
