I want to appear in IAS exam, but I do not have information about the eligibility as well as interview questions. So here can you provide me information about it?

I have a sample paper of IAS exam. So here I am providing you as you want.
But before it I want to tell you about the IAS eligibility as you want.

Age limit & attempt;
The upper age limit of the applicants will be
37 years for SC/ST with unlimited number of attempts;
35 years for OBC applicants with 9 attempts; and
32 for the unreserved (general) category applicants with 6 attempts


(i) Nationality:

For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
For other services, a candidate must be either :—

A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.


Qualification Required For IAS Entrance Test:
Candidates must hold Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline from the recognized University/Institution.

Applicants who are pursuing in the final year examination or waiting for their final year result they may apply for Civil Services Preliminary Examination.

But applicants must have to produce final result for appear in Civil Services Main Examination.

The applicants should be physically and medically fit for this exam.

Common Interview Mistakes

Ques.12). Where Lord Rama would have celebrated his “First Diwali”?

Ans. People will start thinking of Ayodya, Mitila (Janaki’s place), Lanka etc…
But the logic is, Diwali was a celebrated as a mark of Lord Krishna Killing Narakasura. In Dasavataar, Krishnavathaar comes after Raamavathaar. So, Lord Rama would not have celebrated the Diwali At all!
