Here I am giving you information about required education qualification Indian administrative service examination organized by union public service commission

Required eligibility :
You can apply for IAS examination after passing graduation level degree in any discipline from a well recognized university

Age - limits:
21-30 years as on 1st August of the year of Examination.

Scheme of CS (Preliminary) Examination
The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of objective type maximum of 400 marks.
General Studies Paper - I 200 Marks
General Studies Paper - II 200 Marks

Syllabus of Paper I -(200 marks) Duration : Two hours

Current events of national and international importance.
History of India and Indian National Movement.
Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic.
Geography of India and the World.
Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution, Political.
System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
Economic and Social Development-Sustainable.
Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social.
Sector Initiatives, etc.
General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization.

Syllabus for Paper II-(200 marks) Duration: Two hours
Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
Logical reasoning and analytical ability
Decision making and problem solving
General mental ability
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. - Class X level)

As you want to apply for IAS (Officer) exam so here is the eligibility criteria for this exam:

Educational Qualification -
Candidate should be graduate in any stream from recognized university.
Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the Preliminary Examination
however, they are supposed to submit proof of passing the requisite qualification along with Detailed Application Form for Civil Services (Main) Examination

Age Limit for Appearing in IAS Exam -
For General Category candidates, the new age limit is 32 years
For OBC Category candidates, the new age limit is 35 years
For SC/SC Category candidates, the new age limit is 37 years
For Physically Handicapped candidates, age limit is 42, 45 and 47 years for General, OBC and SC/ST category respectively
Certain categories of persons as specified in the Commission's Notice as published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar are eligible for age relaxation.

Nationality-
For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.

For other services, a candidate must be either:
a citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. Or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Restrictions on applying -
candidate who is appointed to the Indian Administrative Service or the Indian Foreign Service on the results of an earlier examination and continues to be a member of that service will not be eligible to compete at this examination
