IAS exam stands for the Indian Administrative Services. This exam is conducted by UPSC. A maximum of 4 attempts is permitted to every applicants and 7 to those belonging to Other Backward applicants. There is no restriction on the number of attempts in the case of SC/ST applicants All this, provided you are still under the age limit. A physically handicapped applicants will get as many attempts as any other non-handicapped applicants e of his/her community But applicants are from the general category they will get 7 attempts. Eligibility Criteria: Interested students must have any graduate degree from any recognized University. Aspirants in the final year are also eligible. Applicants age should be between 21 and 30 years. Syllabus Prelims Syllabus for 2014 UPSC Civil Services Exam General Studies Paper I Maximum marks : 200 Number of Questions : 100 Total Time : 120 minutes (02 hours) Syllabus 1.
